Becoming a member means more than joining an organisation — it means becoming part of a movement for cultural strength, community wellbeing, and self-determination.
Who Can Apply?
Membership is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, as well as supporters and allies committed to our mission. All applications are reviewed by our Membership Committee.
Membership Benefits

Frequently Asked Questions
Applications are typically reviewed within 10 business days. The Membership Committee meets regularly to consider new applications. You will receive confirmation by email or phone once a decision has been made.
Kallipgur Coalition Aboriginal Corporation does not currently charge a membership fee. Membership is free and open to all eligible applicants. We believe cost should never be a barrier to community connection.
While our General Member and Elder categories are reserved for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, we welcome all individuals who support our mission. Supporter and Volunteer membership categories are open to everyone.
Members are expected to uphold the values and objectives of the Corporation, attend General Meetings where possible, and contribute positively to our community. Active participation strengthens us all.
Yes. If your circumstances change or you wish to transition to a different membership category, you can submit a request to the Membership Committee. Changes are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Members may withdraw at any time by submitting a written request to the Corporation. We encourage members to speak with us before making this decision — we are always here to listen and support.
